letting go...

Recently I've had this stubborn idea that Summer was still waiting with all the glorious weather that she brings... This week I've realised this is not the case as a return to heavier coats and boots was needed and the mornings are slowly getting darker...

So I'm trying to embrace this change with a little list of the things i'm loving at the moment and I'm trying to think what I'll gain, instead of what I'll lose...

**Oh and for those who asked about photos from my new lens I've been busy playing so haven't had time to upload any photos yet! Soon I promise!

Our summer was really short, but I am fully embracing fall now. It's gray and starting to get rainy around here, so I don't really have a choice! But I am looking forward to doing more cooking and baking and working on some fun craft projects over the next few months.

I quite enjoyed Autumn this year (coming from someone who can't get enough heat/sunshine).

We had cool but clear days in Autumn and I can't help but love the change in colour of the leaves.

Enjoy!

I love Autumn...am totally ready for it...tired of the weather we had this summer and looking forward to open fires, wooly scarves and jumpers, boots, snuggly throws and crispy, crunchy weather! September is usually a great month weather-wise here in Ireland but so far a bit disappointing! I like to think it's holding out for our holiday (starting 18th)...yayy! Have a great weekend Jac! Mx
